It’s exciting collaborating with a company that established one of the most well known industry standards in software. Microsoft Excel has transformed the way people work with basic number crunching and now boasts over 750 million users.
Given the success of the spreadsheet user interface for both of us, it’s even more exciting to share that we now have a go-to-market collaboration and Microsoft will offer Datameer’s big data analytics on Microsoft Azure HDInsight in Q4 2015.
Microsoft’s embrace of Hadoop as a key analytics platform expands the Hadoop ecosystem in a big way. Our teamwork will allow enterprises worldwide to have a simpler way to consume and use big data technologies, even further democratizing data access.
